A 2008 Winnebago Journey 39Z motorhome donated to

Volunteer Christian Builders will be auctioned off at the 2026 Annual Meeting. The motorhome will be on display at the Annual Meeting with a minimum starting bid of $30,000. As of June 2026, this motorhome was valued at over $59,000 by JDPower.com. This year, we will have two auctions.  As in past annual meetings, the proceeds from one auction will support a ministry chosen by the Board of Directors, while the proceeds from the motorhome auction will benefit both the Outreach Ministry and the Growth of Volunteer Christian Builders.

The motorhome was donated by Roselee and Renda Spencer, the wife and daughter of Neal Spencer, of Henderson, Texas. Neal was actively involved with the Disaster Relief division of Texas Baptist Men. Following Neal's passing in February 2026, the family believed that donating the motorhome to an organization such as Volunteer Christian Builders and allowing the proceeds to benefit a Christian ministry would satisfy his wishes.

This motorhome was built on the XC Freightliner chassis with an I6 6.7L Cummins Turbo Diesel engine. Currently, it has approximately 45,300 miles and has been in storage for a few years. With the exception of time traveling, it was kept in a garage. Everything appears to be fully functional. Both starter and house batteries were replaced on April 13, 2026. New tires will be installed prior to the annual meeting in October.​
